Prof. Sohini Shrivastav, Head (I/c) D.M. Harish School of Law graduated from Gujarat National Law University in 2010. Thereafter she started her career as a transactional lawyer in D.M Harish & Co. Advocates during primarily real-estate, FEMA and Corporate Law Transactions. Thereafter in 2017, she joined NMIMS as an Assistant Professor at NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law and became Associate Dean of Kirit P. Mehta School of Law in November 2021. During this period she worked as Area Chairperson of BBA LLB (Hons.), she was a Member of Vision 2025 Committee, organized several national and international events & had the opportunity to introduce new subjects in the curriculum.

Specialization: Gender Studies, Taxation Laws, Corporate Laws

Prof. Sohini Shrivastav is also pursuing Ph. D. in Gender Studies from Amity University, Mumbai. She is enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa since 2010. She has presented her ongoing Research at the Women’s Leadership Symposium, Somerville College, Oxford University twice and has presented papers in several other national and international conferences.

Awards & Honors: "Best Faculty” Award Year 2017-18 at NMIMS & "Best Young Faculty” year 2020 by Novel Research Academy, Puducherry. As an Invited Guest Lecturer, she delivered Session at SPJIMR on "Legal Aspects of Business”. She is also the author of a Book Chapter.
